Primary Prep- Livonia
The building features a large, fenced-in outdoor play area, spacious classrooms, a dedicated cafeteria for practicing mealtime and social skills, and a full gym for movement, gross motor activities, and play. Primary Prep combines the structure of a school-like environment with the individualized support and therapeutic expertise Bluestone families know and trust.
Large Outdoor Play Area
This building features our largest outdoor play space yet, giving children plenty of room to run, play, explore, and build gross motor and social skills in a natural environment. During the summer months, our splash pad adds even more fun with occasional “Water Days.” The entire outdoor play area is fully fenced to provide an added layer of safety and security while children enjoy time outside.
Cafeteria/Lunch Room
The Primary Prep Café and Lunch Room provides a natural, school-like setting where children can practice important social skills, mealtime routines, independence, and group goals alongside their peers.
Indoor Gym Space
Rainy days don’t have to mean less movement or play! Our spacious indoor play area gives children plenty of opportunities to stay active while working on gross motor development, social interaction, cooperative play, and other important skills—all while having fun.
School Readiness
The Primary Prep building previously served as an elementary school for students in Kindergarten through 6th grade. Its existing school-style layout allows us to provide therapy in authentic classroom and group-learning environments, helping children practice, strengthen, and generalize skills that can support a successful transition into a traditional school setting.
